DOES RICK ARCHBOLD HAVE AN ALIAS ?!
WEB INVESTIGATION SITES SUGGEST THAT RICK ARCHBOLD HAS ALSO USED THE NAME 'PATRICK JACKSON.' IN PARTICULAR, ARCHBOLD AND JACKSON HAVE THE SAME SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND COMMON ADDRESSES. THE LACC OFFICE HAS CONFIRMED THIS AS THE CORRECT SSN.
COMPARE THE RESULTS BELOW FOR THE TWO NAMES AND THE SAME SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER
THIS IS THE REPORT THAT COMES UP FOR ARCHBOLD AND THE SOCIAL SECURITY NO. USED AT LAST EMPLOYMENT
THIS IS THE REPORT THAT COMES UP FOR JACKSON AND THE EXACT SAME SOCIAL SECURITY NO.
WHAT KIND OF PERSON USES TWO DIFFERENT NAMES? All but one of the addresses for Jackson (Gresham, OR) are located near two of Rick Archbold's last three jobs: at Hidden Valley Lake; and Los Osos, Atascadero and Paso Robles, each within 10-20 miles of San Luis Obispo (site of Heritage Ranch). Archbold also lived in Los Osos, Atascadero and Paso Robles, plus Middletown (about 5 miles from Hidden Valley Lake); and at Palm Desert (his third job) and Palm Springs, about 10 miles away. His only other address was at Huntington Beach. There seems little doubt that Rick Archbold and Patrick Jackson are the same person.
NOTE ADDED 7/20/07: A new search on other websites fills in the gaps. A search on the name 'Frederick Archbold' turns up the associated AKA name 'Patrick Jackson.' Another site lists Huntington Beach and Palm Desert as additional Jackson addresses, and Gresham, OR as another Archbold address. The lists totally match.
HOW IT WORKS: you type in a last name and a security number. The site comes back with a list of towns of residence IF the name and SSN match, and nothing otherwise. It does NOT tell you the name(s) of any other people using the SSN. You have to know that some other way, and this search confirms or denies it.
8/13: Mac Hinman's Foolish Response: see below
NEW ON 8/13: The August 2007 edition of the LACC Newsletter has just arrived, with a lead article by LACC President Harry "Mac" Hinman. With regard to the above search results for Archbold and Jackson, Mac says the following (really):
"The anonymous website alleges that Mr. Archbold uses an alias: "F.G.", "Rick", and "Frederick." In fact Mr. Archbold's full legal name is Frederick George Archbold III. "Rick" is a nickname, not an alias."
HOW IS THIS IN ANY WAY RESPONSIVE TO WHAT IS ON THIS WEBPAGE ??
Is "Mac" (not an alias, presumably) just shooting from the hip? Did he even look at this webpage? Or is he trying to deceive the members? Is it possible he thinks we are all that dumb? In any case, it looks like he put the same level of effort into trying to find fault with our website that he did in picking this Archbold (?) character to be our next GM. Next time he makes an assertion, consider the source.
