On August 20, 2007, 21 members of Hidden Valley Lake Association ("HVLA") filed a lawsuit to remove their Board of Directors for voting to expel director Tom Miller in violation of the Corporations Code and the HVLA Bylaws, and for unlawfully limiting his ability to participate as a director.

On September 11, the member plaintiffs applied to the court to issue a TRO, enjoining HVLA from interfering with Tom Miller's rights and duties as a director. The document at left is the statement under oath of Alec McCorquodale in support of the application. It sets forths the underlying facts of the lawsuit.

FOR LACC RESIDENTS, note particularly paragraph 16, which relates to RICK ARCHBOLD, picked by Pres. Mac Hinman to be the new LACC General Manager. (Great pick, Mac !!)
NOTE ALSO: the entire problem at HVLA is due to Archbold's threats to the HVLA Board, to intimidate them from disclosing why he was summarily fired in May.
This paragraph (16) deals with the firing of Rick Archbold as the last General Manager of HVLA in May, 2007 (something Mac Hinman and other LACC Board members still deny).
